Which fridge-freezer fits your kitchen?
We would be happy to advise you personally and work with you to find the perfect fridge-freezer for your kitchen.
Then a fridge-freezer makes sense
A 2-in-1 kitchen appliance, also called a combination appliance, is always useful when you have limited space in your kitchen. Especially small kitchens and single kitchens benefit from the space-saving combination of a refrigerator and freezer.
If you have a lot of food to refrigerate and freeze, you should opt for two separate appliances.
Advantages at a glance
- Space-saving: One appliance takes up less space than two.
- Cost-effective: One appliance is less expensive to buy than two.
- Energy-efficient: One appliance uses less electricity than two.
Which type of appliance fits which kitchen?

| Built-in fridge-freezer | ... modern kitchens with concealed appliances |
| Freestanding fridge-freezer | ... eye-catching statement pieces and flexible kitchen layouts |
| Side-by-side or French door | ... large households and spacious kitchens |
| Two separate units (fridge and freezer) | ... when independent cooling systems are desired |

A Short Buying Guide
There are a few things you should consider before buying a fridge-freezer.
- Size & Volume: Typically 60 cm wide and 170-200 cm high. The volume depends on household size – as a guideline, approximately 200 liters in the refrigerator and 50-100 liters in the freezer (plus about 50 liters per additional person).
- Energy Efficiency: Energy efficiency classes A and B are recommended.
- Noise Level: Appliances below 40 dB are pleasantly quiet.
- Features: e.g., NoFrost for less ice build-up, quick cooling/freezing for fresh groceries. ...
How a NoFrost Fridge-Freezer Works
Choose a NoFrost fridge-freezer and you can save yourself the hassle of defrosting, as the appliance is equipped with a technology that ensures automatic defrosting. Less ice and moisture build up, which also benefits energy consumption. A fan circulates cold, dry air evenly throughout the interior. The moisture from the air condenses on the separate evaporator, where it is melted by a heater and drained as water into a collection tray.
