How the Quooker Faucet Works
The Quooker system consists of a faucet on the countertop and an insulated reservoir installed under the countertop in the kitchen cabinet. The reservoir keeps the water temperature constantly above 100°C, so you can always get boiling hot water from the tap when you need it. Thanks to the high-vacuum insulation (comparable to a thermos flask), energy consumption remains low and heat cannot escape. The Quooker therefore requires very little energy, consuming only about 10 watts per hour.
For chilled, sparkling water, the system can optionally be supplemented with the Quooker CUBE and a CO₂ cylinder.
It is operated via a child-proof control ring by pressing and turning depending on the desired water level.
The benefits of the Quooker tap
Here are five good reasons why investing in one is worth it.
- Versatile: Brewing tea, making filter coffee, disinfecting masks, sterilizing pacifiers and baby bottles, filling with boiling water for pasta – all this and more can be done with a Quooker tap.
- Safety: No burns, no improper use. Thanks to sophisticated safety features, such as the childproof control knob and the illuminated ring, the Quooker is very safe to use. It has a double-walled spout that doesn't heat up and can therefore be touched without hesitation. When boiling water is dispensed, a red light on the ring illuminates. The water stream is droplet-shaped.
- Saves energy, water, and time: You save a lot of time in your daily kitchen routine, as you can dispense boiling water or cold, sparkling water in no time. Only the exact amount needed is dispensed. Nothing more and nothing less.
- Saves space: No kettle, no bottle storage, no empties. You only need one appliance for all your water features. This keeps your countertops tidy.
- Provides excellent water quality: The Quooker also offers purified drinking water. An activated carbon filter in the Quooker reservoir and a hollow fiber filter in the CUBE filter purify the tap water. Additionally, it is "boiled" while stored in the reservoir at 108° Celsius.
Buy a Quooker and donate drinking water
Together with the Made Blue Foundation, Quooker donates clean drinking water to water-scarce regions around the world. For every COMBI reservoir sold, 3,000 liters are donated, and for every PRO3 reservoir, 300 liters are donated. This means you automatically contribute to the initiative – by buying a Quooker, we can all donate drinking water together.
Step 1: Choosing a Kitchen Faucet
First, you need the right kitchen faucet. There are different models, shapes, and colors. Here's an overview.
Black
A black faucet is absolutely on trend. With the Quooker Flex or Fusion in black, you can bring this kitchen trend into your own home. It pairs ideally with other stylish tones, such as grey or dark blue.
Gold
A layer of 24-carat gold makes the Quooker Fusion faucet shine! The head of the faucet is made of elegant matte gold, adding a touch of luxury and brilliance to your kitchen.
Brass Patina
The Quooker Fusion and Classic Fusion come in an elegant brass patina finish, becoming more beautiful and unique with each passing day. Patina is a layer that forms on brass through oxidation and changes color over time.
Gunmetal
Cool and robust – Quooker Gunmetal is a type of bronze that was once used for ammunition. The dark surface has an industrial touch and is available for the Flex and Fusion faucets.
Rose copper
Quooker Rose Copper is a real gem in the kitchen, combining elegant copper with the delicate color of pink. This color is available for the Flex and Fusion models, as well as for a matching soap dispenser.
Stainless steel
A classic faucet for the kitchen – the Quooker in stainless steel is simple and timeless, perfectly blending with any kitchen style. This color is available for all models.
Flex
The Quooker Flex is the most popular tap from the innovative brand. Its standout feature is the removable pull-out spout (hose), which is not available with any other tap. Additionally, the Flex tap comes in various colors, including trendy black.
Fusion
The Quooker Fusion is the only tap in the Quooker range available in many different colors, including exclusive shades like Gold, Patina Brass, or Black. It also offers two different shapes: Round and Square. Additionally, the Fusion impresses with its particularly slim design.
Classic Fusion
The Quooker Classic Fusion combines a boiling water tap with a mixing faucet. Like the standard Fusion, the Classic model is available in both round and square shapes. However, the color options are more limited, and the design is more traditional compared to the standard Fusion model.
Classic Nordic single tap
The Quooker Classic Nordic single tap can be combined with an existing mixing faucet. It is available with either a round or square spout. One of its key features is the adjustable spout, which allows for easy filling of containers without splashing. Its design is classic, and the tap itself is height-adjustable.
Nordic single tap
If you already have a mixing faucet in your kitchen, you can easily combine it with the Nordic single tap boiling water faucet. This way, you'll have a separate spout for boiling water. Additionally, the Quooker Nordic single tap is conveniently height-adjustable.
Nordic Twintaps
With a Quooker Nordic Twintaps, you get two faucets: a classic mixing faucet plus the boiling water faucet, both in the same design. The smaller faucet in the set is height-adjustable, allowing you to easily adapt it to your needs.
Front
The latest addition to the faucet lineup: the Quooker Front. A minimalist-designed faucet in an industrial style.
Step 2: The right reservoir
The basis of the Quooker system is the reservoir located underneath the (sink) cabinet. It must be selected according to your water supply.
PRO3
The Quooker PRO3 provides 3 liters of boiling water. This reservoir can be used anywhere a hot water connection is available.
COMBI
The larger reservoir is the COMBI. It provides 7 liters of boiling water or 15 liters of warm water (60°C) instantly. It is the best alternative to traditional kitchen boilers or water heaters.
COMBI+
The COMBI+ is similar to the Quooker COMBI, but it can be connected to both the cold water line and the hot water line.
Cube for sparkling water from the tap
The Quooker CUBE is the perfect addition to your water reservoir. With it, you can also enjoy sparkling water straight from the tap. The Cube is an extension of the standard reservoir and also requires space in the base cabinet.
Step 3: Matching Accessories
Add the perfect Quooker accessories – soap dispensers, descalers, or hanging brackets – for even greater convenience.
About the Quooker Brand
