FAQ about the Miele KMDA
Frequently asked questions about the Miele KMDA, answered briefly and concisely.
Most Miele KMDA cooktops are 80 cm wide and feature four cooking zones. Width and the number of cooking zones may vary depending on the model. We would be happy to assist you personally with any questions regarding specific models and installation solutions.
The KMDA Silence is an exceptionally quiet cooktop extractor, operating up to 25% more quietly than its predecessors. For instance, the KMDA 7473-1 FL Silence model reaches 28 dB(A) at the lowest setting and up to 54 dB(A) at the highest. However, exact noise levels always depend on the specific model and usage; these figures should be viewed as a guide.
Performance also depends on the specific model. The KMDA Silence extractor hood has an air extraction rate of up to 510 m³/h (recirculation) or 610 m³/h (extraction).
Cooktops with the suffix FR feature a stainless steel frame (e.g., KMDA 7476 FR). Models with the suffix FL are installed flush with the worktop—meaning without a frame (e.g., KMDA 7634 FL).
The scope of delivery includes the cooktop with the integrated extractor (plus stainless steel metal filter). All other accessories must be purchased separately, depending on the desired operating mode. We would be happy to advise you.
