When looking at the new arrivals from Bosch and Siemens, three key trends for the kitchen in 2025 become clear.
Trend #1: AI in the Kitchen
Artificial Intelligence (AI) is becoming an integral part of our daily lives. Among the new arrivals from Bosch and Siemens, we find the AI oven, designed to simplify baking to the essentials. All we need to do is decide which dish we want to prepare and place it in the oven. The AI oven takes care of the rest. It determines the cooking settings, cooking time, and notifies us when the food is ready.
Trend #2: Smart Kitchen Appliances
Starting in 2025, we will use the actual device displays less and less. Instead, we will control our kitchen appliances via app or voice services. The majority of new kitchen appliances from Siemens and Bosch are Home Connect compatible. This means they can connect to the Wi-Fi and be controlled smartly.
Trend #3: Sustainable Kitchen
Sustainability in the kitchen is a trend that is not fading away. That's why Bosch and Siemens kitchen appliances in 2025 are again sustainably produced and energy-efficient. New Siemens iQ500 Oven with Steam
A new Siemens iQ500 oven with steam will be released starting October 2024. Models like the Siemens HR478G5B7F will automatically release steam bursts and notify you via push message in the app when the dish is ready. The new Siemens ovens are also equipped with a roasting thermometer, the pyrolytic cleaning activeClean®, and Air Fry for crispy frying in the oven.
2-Stage Steam Support in the Siemens iQ500 Oven
The new Siemens iQ500 oven features a 2-stage steam support. This means it automatically releases steam bursts at intervals. The moist environment helps bake croissants, baguettes, or pretzels to a crispy exterior and a light, airy interior.
The New Siemens iQ500 Design
The design of the new Siemens iQ500 oven shines with dark glass combined with brushed black steel. It can be operated via the modern display or smartly through the Siemens Home Connect app.

Bosch Serie 8 Oven with Camera & AI
In the premium range, we can look forward to the new Bosch Serie 8 oven with camera and AI (artificial intelligence). With the oven camera, the intelligent oven can recognize the dish and suggest the best settings for baking. For certain dishes, you can also adjust the browning level. Something similar is already available with the Siemens studioLine oven with browning sensor. The new Bosch oven will be available from October 2024.
The Bosch Oven with Dish Recognition
The Bosch oven from the Serie 8 now features dish recognition. Thanks to an integrated camera and artificial intelligence, it can accurately identify dishes in the oven and suggest the best cooking settings and temperatures. What's also exciting is that the Bosch oven doesn't just recognize the dish itself, but also its current state—whether, for example, broccoli is still raw, frozen, or already cooked.
Adjustable Browning Level in the Bosch Oven
For certain dishes, the browning level can be individually adjusted in the Bosch oven. Additionally, the new Serie 8 oven features modern cooking and heating methods that preserve as many vitamins and nutrients as possible. For example, the Steam Function Plus, which uses a combination of hot air and steam to maintain the appearance, taste, and nutrients of the food. It also cooks up to 35% faster than in a traditional steam oven.

The new Siemens iQ500 inductionAir Plus cooktop is the first Siemens cooktop with integrated downdraft extraction that is equipped with the new BratSensor Plus. The Siemens BratSensor Plus allows for temperature-controlled cooking. This means you can not only select a power level but also set an exact temperature (between 70 and 220°C).

For 2025, Bosch is offering energy-efficient refrigerators. For example, the new Bosch Serie 4 Fridge-Freezer Combination with an energy efficiency class of A-10%. This freestanding fridge-freezer combination is a so-called Perfect Fit device and can be placed directly next to walls and other furniture without the need for space. The new Bosch Serie 4 freestanding refrigerator with freezer compartment will be available from April 2025.

In the new Bosch refrigerator, food stays fresh longer, thanks to Bosch VitaFresh XXL. The freshness system consists of two separate compartments with integrated climate control. These provide the ideal climate for storing food.

The Bosch dishwasher from the Green Collection features a sustainable drying technology: Bosch Efficient Dry. After the Eco 50° program finishes, the door opens automatically, allowing warm air to escape and the dishes to continue drying. This also prevents condensation water from forming.
