Everything new, always better. With Generation 7000, Miele has developed new built-in appliances that are intended to revolutionize the kitchen experience (we have already introduced you to some products in "The Miele Generation 7000"). In February 2020, another innovation will be launched on the market with the new Miele induction hob with extractor hood. The Miele hob KMDA 7634 has a completely flush look and features exclusive Miele innovations that hardly any other hob extractor has.
New functions in Miele extractor hoods
The new operating functions and the most important highlights of Miele extractor hoods at a glance.

Con@ctivity 3.0
Con@ctivity 3.0 is the name of the smart function that allows you to conveniently control your Miele extractor hood via smartphone, tablet, remote control or hob. As soon as you switch on the hob, the extractor hood reacts and automatically adjusts the suction power and other functions to your cooking behavior. The only requirement is a WiFi connection. The devices communicate with each other via this. In the event of a fault, each device also has a hidden button control built in.

Eco-Motor
Miele extractor hoods have a powerful Eco-Motor. This is powerful and at the same time energy-saving. Compared to conventional motors, you save up to 70% energy. Miele extractor hoods therefore have the energy label of the best classes from A++ to A.

MyAmbientLight
The adjustable MyAmbientLight function creates impressive LED light accents in your kitchen. You can set a Miele extractor hood to different light colors and brightnesses. Individually adapted to your current mood.

Miele CleanCover
While cooking, not only odors but also grease and deposits accumulate. Therefore, you should clean the extractor hood several times a month. A smooth surface on Miele extractor hoods makes cleaning easy. It also prevents contact with cables and motor parts.

10-layer stainless steel metal filter
Miele makes cleaning even easier by equipping the extractor hoods with easy-care filters. The high-quality metal filters are made of 10-layer stainless steel, are dishwasher-safe and particularly durable. The Miele extractor hood also tells you when you need to change the filters. With the help of a visual display for grease filter and activated carbon filter saturation, you can always see how clean your extractor hood filters are.

Hood in motion
Some of the new Miele extractor hoods have the Hood in motion function. The hood moves into the position required for the current situation. For example, the Miele Aura Ambient folds out its wings when you switch it on to effectively absorb cooking fumes. Once cooking is finished and the extractor hood is switched off, the wings are automatically retracted so that the island hood turns into a beautiful decorative piece on the ceiling.
The Miele KMDA 7634 cooktop with extractor hood
Not yet on the market but already on everyone's lips: The Miele KMDA 7634 is the next innovation on the market after the new Miele built-in appliance series Generation 7000. The induction cooktop with integrated extractor hood has been redesigned by Miele and now appears completely flush. Both the hob and the fume extractor hood are flush. The new version of the Miele hob will be released in February 2020 and is in great demand! The slightly cheaper alternative will remain the KMDA 7633 FL. Only the fume extractor hood is not 100% flush, but is around 16mm high. In terms of energy efficiency, durability & In terms of performance, however, both devices should be far ahead of the competition.

Hob with Miele PowerFlex
Technically, the induction hob with steam extractor remains almost untouched. It still has a width of 80 cm and the performance and handling of its predecessors. According to Miele, the technical innovations that the KMDA 7774 already has are outstanding and exactly what customers want from a premium hob with extractor.
The steam extractor on the Miele induction hob is located in the middle of the hob and is surrounded by two cooking areas on the left and right. These are equipped with Miele PowerFlex technology, which ensures that individual pots and pans are automatically recognized. With the help of the unique Miele Booster, an output of 7.3 kW is generated, which you can use to boil larger quantities of water ultra-quickly. In addition, the power of the hob can be individually adjusted. Select individual power and frying levels for each cooking zone, which are indicated by a yellow row of numbers.

This is how you install the Miele KMDA
The ventilation technology of the Miele cooktop extractor is discreetly located in the base cabinet. However, thanks to its compact design, a shortened drawer can still be integrated under the cooktop.
The steam extractor consists of an exclusive filter box with a 10-layer metal filter that can be easily removed for cleaning and cleaned in the dishwasher. Underneath is the Miele CleanCover, a smooth surface without sharp edges or components. It protects cables and motor parts from dirt and grime and also makes cleaning easier.
The Miele Aura 4.0 Ambient island hood
The elegant island hood from Miele, the Aura 4.0 Ambient, has an unobtrusive design and is reminiscent of a modern ceiling light. But it can do more than its perfect design suggests. If you switch on the Aura 4.0 Ambient, the wings open and form an elegant oval shape. At the same time, the vapor collection space inside is enlarged, creating more power, because the integrated vapor elements can suck in more cooking fumes. If you switch the extractor hood off again, the wings nestle closely against the round hood body and transform the extractor hood into a design highlight in your kitchen.
