Are you looking for a modern BORA cooktop with surface induction that combines design and technology, allowing you to fry and cook on a large cooking surface? Then the BORA X Pure might be the right choice for you. Visually, the induction cooktop from BORA is somewhat reminiscent of its predecessor, the Pure cooktop. With its round cooktop extractor integrated centrally in the cooking zone and the vertical touch slider, the BORA X Pure cooktop offers several advantages over other cooktops. We've summarized these in detail for you here.

The BORA X Pure induction hob with extractor hood

This hob from BORA is a modern induction hob with integrated extractor hood. Similar to its predecessor, the BORA Pure, the extractor hood consists of a round inlet nozzle at the bottom. This extracts cooking smells and fumes directly from the hob. Below, integrated filters in the ventilation technology ensure that the air is filtered and released again.

  • Type: Induction hob with extractor hood
  • Design: Matt or glossy glass ceramic
  • Dimensions: 830 mm x 199 mm x 515 mm (W x H x D)
  • Number of cooking zones: 4 (surface induction)
  • Cooking zone size: 2 x 230 x 230 mm
  • Power levels: 1 – 9 and Power
  • Installation type: Frameless, flush-mounted
  • Extraction system: Recirculating air / Exhaust air

Operation of the X Pure

Vertical slider with sensor keys & touch

The induction hob can be operated via touch. Below the inlet nozzle there is a vertical slider with sensor buttons that react to finger movements. Three different touch commands are distinguished: short touches (touch), long touches (long press) and vertical sliding movements (sliding). All nine power levels, settings and other hob information are then displayed in blue and white colors. Relevant elements light up brighter than irrelevant ones. In addition, the display almost completely disappears when the hob is switched off. This creates a nice black vision effect. Only the on and off switch is still slightly visible so that you can operate it.

Functions of the X Pure

Surface induction & pot detection

In addition to the striking design, the BORA X Pure also has a number of practical functions. These are primarily intended to simplify cooking and frying. The glass ceramic hob has a surface induction with two 230 x 230 mm cooking zones each. They can also be combined with one another using a practical bridge function. This creates a large surface on which you can cook and fry with large pots and roasters. The X Pure also has intelligent pot detection. Each cooking zone automatically detects the size of the cookware and releases the energy specifically to that surface. The new induction hob also detects cookware that is too small, missing or unsuitable. It then switches off automatically after 10 minutes.

Extraction technology of the X Pure

Exhaust air or recirculation?

The BORA cooktop can be operated with both exhaust air and recirculated air. In exhaust air mode, the air is cleaned by a grease filter and led outside in a duct system. If the extractor is controlled using recirculated air, the air is also first cleaned by a grease filter. An activated carbon filter is also used to filter or bind odors. The cleaned air is then released back into the room.

Design

The BORA Pure and the X Pure differ significantly in their design. The Pure's cooktop extractor has a ring design, while the X Pure's has a pin-like appearance. The slider also has a different design: it's red on the Pure, while the X Pure's is white and blue, and also features a light-dark contrast with background lighting.

Function

A major advantage of the X Pure cooktop is its surface induction, which provides a particularly large cooking surface. In general, the cooking zones on the X Pure are slightly larger than on its predecessor, the Pure.

Performance

The BORA induction cooktop has also been improved in terms of performance. X Pure impresses with its extremely low noise level and redesigned airflow. It's even quieter than the already quiet BORA Pure cooktop.
